Belated new years greetings to all, after having a few problems logging into the website i’m now back on line & i’ve uploaded a few new pics to the gallery.  Weather wise it’s freezing here with some snow on the ground(10th Feb)  although not as cold as last year when it was well into the – figures. Breeding wise i’m now something like back up to my usual numbers of birds & i’ve somewhat recovered from last seasons disaster when my birdroom was flooded out & i lost 65 bird, most of which were the breeding team & my best young birds that were in the main flight, of which only 3 birds survived ! Thankfully i had around 8 or 9 pairs paired up at the time & there was a few late bred babies knocking around, otherwise it would’ve been a total disaster. Thanks also to those that offered & lent me a few birds.

Final thoughts, think i’ll stick to pairing up the birds in the springtime in future, this winter breeding lark is no good.
