The Bird Room

The new bird room was completed in the summer of 2005, it measures 20ft x 10ft and is 8ft high.

Twenty four all wire breeding cages can be used along the back wall, with two large inside flights and a sink with hot and cold running water, it also includes other mod cons, such as a light dimmer, controlled heating and air purifying system.

The bird room also has CCTV coverage and is fully alarmed.

Feeding

Fresh seeds and water are given daily to all birds in the flights and breeding cages, soft food is given daily to birds in flights and twice daily to breeding pairs.

Cuttlefish bone, grit and minerals are available to all birds all year round, the feeding routine is kept to the same times each and every day.

Visitors are always welcomed by prior appointment only.
